looking for the left side of my brain. somebody who can help me keep up with... everything really, but primarily tasks related to the development of balvida and other community-oriented work.
there aren't any specific qualifications *needed*, but here is a description of what im generally looking for. needed starting in summer 2025
you are:
a woman with flexible availability, including for work-related travel to atlanta and costa rica. spanish-speaking would be amazing. creative. some experience in photoshop and/or canva. good aesthetic eye. kind-hearted and believes in a better world. not scared of feminists and learning new things.
interested & able to participate in community-building, executive tasks like keeping up with emails, making appointments, reaching out to contractors & service providers, following up and reaching out a 2nd, 3rd and 4th time, shooting behind-the-scenes footage, setting up/breaking down equipment, arranging travel, internet sleuthing to find a great deal on anything from a vintage plate to a new dishwasher to a videographer with last-minute availability, locating/researching resources, assisting in content creation, social media, graphic design
time commitment to start would be about 10 hrs/week, with travel occurring for about a week every other month to start. plz send in a short description of yourself including name, age, location, and any relevant info & experience you want to share.

needed on an ongoing basis to code interactive features for the site along with making minor tweaks (why tf cant i figure out how to add rollover text lmao). experience making mobile-friendly features and looking to work with another woman. this would be a per-project/freelance arrangement

if youre somebody with extra money or other tangible resources and you like the vision and would like to contribute, that would be pretty fucking cool. there's a ton of opportunity for impactful "investment" in this project. but please note this is not an "investment opportunity"in the traditional sense -- balvida is not a money-making endeavor, so you will not be getting your money+interest back. we can totally name a mango tree after you or something tho
producer? content creator?
im not even really sure what the right term is for it but im looking for ppl who know anything about/could help with the development of content/a series for youtube. i have a pretty solid outline of where i'd like to start creatively but would love to connect with women with experience on the production & tech side of things of bringing concepts to fruition in video formats. located in atlanta would be cool but it's not a deal breaker. some travel involved
