BALVIDA is a women-centered commune on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica established to bring balance to the world through a foundation of matriarchal principles by reconnecting women to their selves, each other, and the world around them.

BALVIDA features a mix of communal & private living spaces, prioritizes sustainability efforts thru thoughtful permaculture design, and offers beautifully-appointed resources to facilitate wellness, learning, spirituality, creating, sharing, healing, and living.

Currently in development, Balvida is envisioned as not just a home for the women who live here but as a place women from around the world can experience, explore, and engage in an intentional community founded on sustainable principles and provides endless opportunities for expansive growth.
