BALVIDA is a women-centered commune on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica being established using matriarchal, sustainable principles with a goal of furthering connection to ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
Balvida will feature a variety of beautiful communal & private living arrangements, prioritize sustainability efforts thru thoughtful permaculture design, and offer beautifully-appointed resources to facilitate wellness, learning, spirituality, creating, sharing, healing, and living.
Breaking ground in 2025, Balvida is being developed not just as a home for the women who live there but as a place women from around the world can experience, explore, and engage in an intentional community that provides endless opportunities for learning, healing, thriving-- and eventually, a source of motivation and conceptual blueprint for women who want to create their own versions of community.
